일상생활 & 전도 영어

온 땅의 구음이 하나이요 언어가 하나이었더라.(창11:1)/

여호와께서 가라사대 이 무리가 한 족속이요 언어도 하나이므로

이같이 시작하였으니 이후로는 그 경영하는 일을 금지할 수 없으리로다.(창11:6)/

자, 우리가 내려가서 언어를 혼잡케 하여 그들로 알아듣지 못하게 하자 하시고(창11:7)/

그러므로 그 이름을 바벨이라 하니 이는 여호와께서 거기서 온 땅의 언어를 혼잡케하셨음이라.(창11:9).

 

1. 선교와 언어의 중요성

 

1) 언어가 다르면 공동체가 흩어진다.

2) 언어는 커뮤니케이션의 최상의 수단이다.

3) 언어의 깊이가 선교의 깊이에 영향을 미친다.

4) 언어를 정복해야 문화충격을 극복한다.

5) 성공적인 선교사들은 현지어에 능통하였다

6) 복음의 효과적인 전달에 필수적 요소가 언어이다

7) 언어는 선교사에게 자신감을 준다

 

2. 외국어를 배우는 마음의 자세

 

1) 선교지 원어민과 그들의 문화를 좋아하는 마음을 가지라.

2) 자신의 기초가 좋지 않다고 한탄하지 말라.

3) 자신의 기억력이 좋지 않다고 한탄하지 말라.

4) 창피 당하는 것을 두려워하지 말라.

5) 틀리는 것을 두려워하지 말라.

6) 목표에 도달하지 못했으면 절대로 쉬지 말라.

7) 장기전이 될 것을 각오하라.

8) 다른 사람들도 이미 해 냈다는 사실 위에서 긍정적으로 접근하라

9) 현지에 파송되기 전부터 현지에 들어가는 기회를 가지라.

3. 영어 습득 방법

 

1) 영어 공부는 기초 회화나 생활 영어부터 시작하라

2) 아기가 우리말 배우듯이 영어를 배우라.
3) 문법책은 기본적인 원리만 익혀라
4) 단어는 암기하려 하지 말라. 영어 소설을 많이 읽으면서 단어를 익혀라.
5) 좋은 영어 표현이나 문장은 외워라(문장 암기는 말하기에 효과적이다.

 

6) 가능한 한 많이 들어라: 테이프는 1개를 10번씩 들어라
7) 언제나 영어방송을 틀어놓아라

8) 들을 때는 핵심 단어를 먼저 catch하라

9) 들으면서 입으로 따라 하라.

10) 들으면서 들리는 것만 받아쓰는 연습을 하라.

 

11) 지하철이나 버스 안에서 가벼운 소설 영어를 듣거나 읽어라.
12) 매일 조금씩 때와 장소를 가리지 말라: 가는 곳마다 눈에 띄는 영어를 읽는 습관을 길러라.
13) 두뇌 조깅 법을 이용하라: 영어로 생각하는 습관을 길러라.
14) 외국인과 접촉할 기회를 자주 만들어라.
15) 영어권을 여행하며 그 나라 문화를 습득할 기회를 만들어라.

1) 인사: 일상적인 인사

A: Good morning, Mr. Kim.

A: How are you?

2) 인사: 초면 인사
