| A Selah Moment |

만군의 여호와께서 곧 영광의 왕이시로다(셀라) - 시편 24:10 |
King David proclaimed: "The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory" (Ps. 24:10). The word Selah was later added to the end of this psalm and many others. Some believe it refers to an instrumental interlude because the psalms were often set to music. Biblical scholars also suggest other possible meanings, including "silence," "pause," "interruption," "accentuate," "exalt," or "end."
Reflecting on these words can help us to take a "Selah moment" to pause and worship God during the day.
.Be silent and listen to the voice of God(Ps.46:10).
.Pause from a hectic schedule to be refreshed in spirit(Ps.42:1-2).
.Interrupt the day to do a spiritual inventory and be cleansed(Ps.51:1-10).
.Accentuate the joy of God's provision through thanks-giving(Ps.65:9-13).
.Exalt the name of God for answered prayer in spite of disappointment(Ps.40:1-3).
.End the day by reflecting on the Lord's faithfulness(Ps.119:148).

다윗 왕은 "만군의 여호와께서 곧 영광의 왕이시로다"(시24:10)라고 노래했습니다. ‘셀라’라는 단어가 이 시를 비롯한 많은 시의 끝부분에 붙여졌습니다. 시편이 종종 음악에 맞추어 읊어졌기 때문에 어떤 사람들은 그것이 악기의 간주를 뜻한다고 생각하기도 합니다. 성경학자들도 "침묵", "쉼", "중단", "강조", "찬양", 또는 "끝"과 같은 다른 의미로 쓰였을 가능성도 있다고 추측합니다.

.하루 일과를 잠시 중단하고 영적 상태를 점검하고 자신을 깨끗케 하십시오(시51:1-10).
.감사함으로 하나님의 공급하심에 대한 기쁨을 강조하십시오(시65:9-13).
.실망 가운데에서도 응답받은 기도를 생각하며 하나님의 이름을 드높이십시오(시40:1-3).
.주님의 신실하심을 묵상하면서 하루를 마무리하십시오(시119:148).
다윗의 하나님에 대한 묵상 중에는 셀라의 시간이 포함되어 있었습니다. 우리도 다윗의 본을 따르면 하나님께 하루 종일 예배드릴 수 있을 것입니다. |

Psalm 24:1-10
[1] Of David. A psalm. The earth is the LORD'S, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;
[2] for he founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters.
[3] Who may ascend the hill of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place?
[4] He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false.
[5] He will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God his Savior.
[6] Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, O God of Jacob. Selah
[7] Lift up your heads, O you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.
[8] Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
[9] Lift up your heads, O you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.

시편 24:1-10
[1] [다윗의 시] 땅과 거기 충만한 것과 세계와 그 중에 거하는 자가 다 여호와의 것이로다
[2] 여호와께서 그 터를 바다 위에 세우심이여 강들 위에 건설하셨도다
[3] 여호와의 산에 오를 자 누구며 그 거룩한 곳에 설 자가 누군고
[4] 곧 손이 깨끗하며 마음이 청결하며 뜻을 허탄한 데 두지 아니하며 거짓 맹세치 아니하는 자로다
[5] 저는 여호와께 복을 받고 구원의 하나님께 의를 얻으리니
[6] 이는 여호와를 찾는 족속이요 야곱의 하나님의 얼굴을 구하는 자로다(셀라)
[7] 문들아 너희 머리를 들지어다 영원한 문들아 들릴지어다 영광의 왕이 들어가시리로다
